About Angshuman

I am Indian, a full blooded Bengali from Kolkata (Calcutta), a banker, now based out of New Delhi.

Sucked into Digital photography from my trip to Cambodia & Lao in 2006. My photographic journey continues.... I still am very much in the lower reaches of photographic abilities, but I am eager to learn & your constructive comments will help me a lot for that . Seeing and analyzing pictures posted by others is a valuable learning experience & that's why from my part, I tend to write critiques in a constructive manner, trying to analyse a photograph to the best of my abilities.

Architecture photography is my first love. My weakest points are landscape & portraits. I'm not too much into street photography, but sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised with a few of my efforts. But I do try & make an effort to learn, but often success rate is very moderate. I'm not too much into Post processing except the bare minimum required to make the 'raw' picture presentable.

My strong belief : Photographs are born in the camera & not in the computer.
